This Honeycomb sculptural form is a facsimile to viewing brain corals in the modern carbonate environment.

The Stratigraphy Series is made of contour pattern bars created in the warm glass  studio and then picked up on a gather or two of glass in the hot shop.  The pattern bars are representative of stratigraphic sequences.
